Figure S10. Ancestral state reconstruction of the aerial stem nodulation ability in the genus Aeschynomene and allied genera. Ancestral state reconstruction was estimated in SIMMAP software using the 50% majority-rule topology obtained by Bayesian analysis of the combined ITS + matK sequences. Data on the occurrence of stem nodulation come from pertinent previously published data. Occurrence or not of stem nodulation is indicated by different colors. (XLSX 15 kb)
