Résumé
This dataset brings together population estimates for 44 species of highly mobile seabird breeding in the Atlantic Ocean, compiled through a literature review (Rouyer, 2025). For each species, information is provided on numbers of breeding individuals at 3 levels: 1) globally, 2) in the Atlantic 3) in each of the Large Marine Ecosystem (LME) where the species breeds (or Marine Ecoregion of the World in places where no LME exists). For some species, there is additional information at the subpopulation level (country, region, archipelago or colony).
