This file contains the raw phenotypic data, with one value per individual leaf, for both outdoor and greenhouse experiments, measured with conventional methods: i/ leaf mass per area (LMA in mg cm-2), water content (WCf in mg H2O mg-1 fresh weight) and water quantity (WQ in mg H2O per leaf disk) measured by disk weighing. ii/ Net CO2 assimilation (An in µmol m-2 s-1), intrinsic water use efficiency (WUEintr in µmol CO2 mol-1 H2O), instantaneous water use efficiency (WUEinst in µmol CO2 mmol-1 H2O) measured with an infrared-gas exchange analyser (Li6800). iii/ Leaf water potential (PSI in MPa) measured with a pressure chamber. “Leaf_ID” is the unique leaf identifier, “Experiment” indicates whether the experiment was conducted outdoors or within the greenhouse. “Phenotyping_type” refers to the amount of leaves on which the trait was measured: HT for high-throughput (1476 plants) or low-throughput (subset of 120 plants).
