We present an optically-tuned THz modulator working in the 0.75-1.1 THz range with 3-dB insertion losses and 40 MHz bandwidth. Integration in WR1.0 waveguide is investigated and shows up to theoretical 13-dB modulation depth according to numerical simulations. © 2022 IEEE.
