Grinding of unsaturated granular media has received little attention in the literature. The water present in these media drastically changes the rheology of the feedstock and the cohesive forces with the particles. These modifications lead to a different transmission of energy during the grinding process. This presentation presents a correlation between cohesion of the granular medium and grinding efficiency.
