Résumé
It was decided to give up the idea that good estimation of hydrological model parameters can be achieved without runoff data. Another approach has been investigated in which regional information is mixed with local and incomplete runoff information. In western Africa, the results show that using this combination can lead to good parameter estimation even with very little information.
