The Plant Health Epidemiological Surveillance Platform (ESV Platform) brings together seven partners (INRAE, DGAl, Anses, Cirad, ACTA, CDAF, Fredon France) to provide support for the surveillance of regulated harmful organisms (ONR) prioritized by risk managers and attacking plants in France. This surveillance requires knowledge of the latest news concerning these ONR on an international scale. The ESV Platform provides, through the weekly conduct of its International Health Monitoring (VSI), an update of knowledge on the health status, methods, tools of interest for the surveillance and control of certain ONR, intended for the platform's partners, surveillance stakeholders, risk managers but also the public. To achieve this, a semi-automated pipeline was set up on the information system, original in its development, implementing different techniques and technologies (web scraping, machine translation, clustering, automatic text summarization, and ultimately text mining). The "veilleuses" process the information collected each week to choose, with the support of an editorial committee, which information will be published through the ESV Platform bulletins or website. The VSI aims to increase the number of targeted organisms by automating tasks currently performed manually through collaborations with research. These productions provide direct support for the monitoring and management of pathogens.
