Résumé
Fashion collections since the new millennium have consistently showcased a returning hypermassimalism that goes by the name of Neo-Baroque. One of the most striking examples of this is the Fall/Winter 2012-13 fashion show by Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana inspired by Sicilian Baroque. Neo Baroque in fashion testifies to a magical-honirical aesthetic need of humanity through image, imagination and imagery related to luxury, dépense and artifice.
