This paper summarizes recent (2011-2016) research carried out within the LIRMM IDH group, to address the development of collaborative robots for industrial applications. The presented works have been carried out in the frame of various projects, involving major European industrial actors such as PSA Peugeot Citroën, Airbus, and the Tecnalia Foundation.
