Water is used for many purposes and its management challenges are different in time and space depending on the diversity of situations encountered. In this context, there is a need to better document and identify the causes of change . The challenge includes clarifying the spatio-temporal heterogeneity of anthropogenic causes of changes affecting the resource This is the contribution of this study that considers modelling as a process that goes from the elicitation of the knowledge of experts and actors (knowledge representation) to computer simulation (programming). In this study we enhance hydrological modelling by considering explicit modelling of anthropogenic actions. To this end, we propose a quantitative description of the actions of an association of gravity irrigators that, through their sampling and discharge, modify the natural flow of the Buëch River. We show that agent-based modelling based on the theory of situated action, allows a representation of the actions of irrigators responsible for the changes in natural flow, by focusing on real actions they realize and that make sense for them.
