Résumé
This paper presents a novel approach of the modeling of Surface Acoustic Wave transducers using the Finite Element Method (FEM). This work focuses on the development of acoustic wave sensors for environmental applications. Taking advantage of previous theoretical simulations, where the physical phenomena were explained and estimated by the FEM using COMSOL Multiphysics © , the aim of this paper is to present our preliminary work for the fabrication of a new sensor in response to a growing selected market for Low Power Device (LPD), at a frequency range near 433 MHz. After the presentation of typical devices, the modeling and the theoretical behavior of the new transducers were carried out. The sensitivity study and device optimization were realized, leading to a new design of the transducers.
