Multi-scale

ship structure

In this paper a domain decomposition approach (FETI-DP) is combined with a multi-scale approach for the analysis of ship structure. Each sub-domain has its own discretization scale (microscopic or macroscopic), according local effects are present or not. The global analysis of structure can thus be optimized, by concentrating microscopic description in zones of interest.
