Résumé
Our works on microbial diversity in some freshwater ecosystems located in the region of Rhône-Alpes are aimed at: 1) Assessing the microbial diversity in aquatic ecosystems and relating microbial diversity and ecosystem functioning, 2) Estimating the impacts of chemicals (especially pesticides) on the structure and the functioning of microbial communities, 3) Evaluating if microbial diversity can be used as a bioindicator of local and global changes in the ecosystems studied.
