Résumé
Sílvia Soler i Guasch (Figueres, 1961), one of the most promising Catalan authors of 21st-century literature, is a writer and journalist. She has always contributed regularly to various media outlets, particularly the Catalan press (Avui, Punt Diari, Ara, Núvol, etc.). She entered the world of fiction in 1984, winning the Recull Prize for the short story “Semblava de vidre”, and has since published both short stories and novels regularly – one of the most famous of which is “L'estiu que comença”. (Ramon Llull Prize 2013) – as well as short stories and reflections such as El gust de ser mare (2004), the collection of articles Rellotges de sol (2018), and a form of autobiography with the book L'alegria de viure (2022), or short texts in the form of lived moments or vital snapshots. This reflection proposes a first approach to the play of identity in the prose writings of the author S. Soler, with a focus on the writing of the self, from the perspective of the creative process. The communication is limited to analysing the book L'alegria de viure (2022) from this point of view.
