Résumé
We will first present the motivations for integrating mid-IR lasers and Si photonics, and discuss the challenges related to the growth of III-V semiconductors on group-IV substrates. Finally, we will review the current state-of-the-art of mid-IR lasers grown on Si and/or Si photonics circuits.
