Résumé
The duality view of the opportunities (Farjoun, 2010; Zahra, 2008), states that the discovery and creation of opportunities are mutually enabling. Chetty, Karami, and Martín (2018) provide a multilevel model of international opportunities and the conditions for discovered and created opportunities to enable each other. We aim to complete their model using the context of environmental opportunities because they often need to be created before they are discovered (Pacheco, Dean & Payne, 2010). We integrate the view of the actors providing International Support Services (ISSs) since they aim to help the companies identify and exploit international opportunities (Leonidou, Samiee, & Geldres, 2016). We answer two research questions: How do discovered and created international environmental opportunities enable one another? And how do ISSs facilitate the discovery and creation of international environmental opportunities?
