Résumé

Engineering Sciences Fluids mechanics Mathematics Mechanics Numerical Analysis
An approximate Riemann solver is proposed for direct sensitivity computation for the shallow water equations with discontinuous solutions. An extra source term is needed to restore sensitivity balance across the shocks. The sensitivity equations are derived, the numerical technique is given and applied on the dam-break problem with bottom slope.
