Effective management of treated drinking water networks requires rigorous integration of data from various sources, which are often heterogeneous and incompatible. In the Haute Matsiatra region of Madagascar, the multiplicity of stakeholders involved in the water sector complicates the joint analysis of drinking water production data. This article presents an approach based on the harmonization and modeling of spatiotemporal data, using open-source tools such as QGIS and PostGIS. We use the introduced harmonized model by cross-referencing data on the location of drinking water supply infrastructure to analyze the quantity of drinking water produced. This harmonized data model enables the spatial and temporal tracking of treated water production in targeted areas. The results underscore the importance of a unified data model in enhancing drinking water governance and facilitating informed local decision-making.
