Abstract
The intervertebral disc (IVD) growth, which is at the heart of the development of thejuvenile idiopathic scoliosis, constitutes anexample of biological growth influenced bymechanical loads. In order to better understandthe early development of this pathology, wepropose to study a marker of tissue growthwhich are the residual strains and stressesgenerated through the biological growthprocess of the IVD.
