Abstract
In this study, we propose a strategy forproducing more concentrated and less fragilehydrogels. It is based on the extraction of water from1% (w/v) WEAX enzymatic gels using osmoticcompression. This approach aims to reinforce themechanical resistance of the gels before swelling, whilepreserving their covalent network and swelling capacity.
