Abstract
In coastal areas, sceneries and vistas are among the favourite resources searched by new residents and holiday makers. If the relationship between urbanisation and the proximity to the shore is fairly known, the visual landscape influence on land use / land cover id not clearly assessed and measured. The objective of the poster is to present a methodology to map and measure the interaction between sea visibility and coastal land use / land cover. The study area is located in North-Western Italy, in the Ligurian Region, famous for being a seaside resorts area.
