Résumé
Plant roots encounter a large variety of living organisms in the soil. Some soil microorganisms associate with plant roots to form symbiotic interactions. In this chapter, we describe the establishment of two widespread and important symbiotic associations: mycorrhizae and actinorhizae; and the developmental changes that they induce both at the site of interaction and on the whole root system.
