Examples taken from the synthesis and activation procedures of various zeolites (mazzite, zeolite TON, zeolite beta) illustrate that all the steps involved in the preparation of a zeolite catalyst, i.e the history of the material, may influence its physicochemical and therefore catalytic properties.
