This chapter discusses Cugerone model with additional data on the structural framework of Pb‐Zn mineralization in the Pyrenean Axial Zone (PAZ). It studies the stratabound Horcall and Crabioules deposits belonging to the Bossòst and Lys‐Caillaouas massifs, respectively, and the vein deposits of the Arre‐Anglas district in the Pierrefitte massif. Together with those already described in the Bossòst massif, the chapter highlights the structural control on the formation and transposition of several types of Pb‐Zn mineralization in orogenic basement. It describes the micron‐scale relationships between sulfide texture and critical metals such as germanium in order to constrain general ore‐orming processes and critical metals mobility in an orogenic context. Macrostructural observations of Pb‐Zn vein mineralizations in the PAZ at regional scale highlight two main types of ore bodies: stratabound mineralizations and Vein mineralizations.
