Résumé
The progression of eukaryotic cells through the cell cycle is under the control of sequential activations and subsequent inactivations of various Cyclin- dependent kinases (Cdks) (Sherr 1993). Among these complexes, two have been extensively described. The first one was the Cdc2-Cyclin B complex, also known as MPF (M phase promoting factor) which controls entry to and exit from M phase (Dorée 1990; Nurse 1990). The second one is the Cdk2- Cyclin A complex necessary for DNA replication which acts as SPF (S phase promoting factor) (Reed et al. 1991). The Cdc2 or Cdk2 kinase activity depends both on their Cyclin association and post-translational phosphorylation/ dephosphorylation reactions (Pines 1993).
