Résumé

Looking at resources in entrepreneurial ecosystem, the focus is mainly on resource allocation or provision. Less is known about accessibility and availability. This chapter explores how local policies and institutional frameworks shape resource accessibility. We conducted a qualitative study on the Burgundy entrepreneurial ecosystem. The findings show the significant role of regional disparities, the impact of personal relationships and the need of more coordinated and strategic resource accessibility. Based on these findings, we created a model revealing elements influencing resource accessibility within the ecosystem. This study contributes to the entrepreneurial ecosystem literature by offering insights for policymakers, institutional leaders and entrepreneurs. We also contribute to the regional entrepreneurship literature highlighting the role of local conditions and regional disparities in shaping the resource accessibility.
