Résumé
In Laos, HIV-control programmes struggle to reach people living in remote areas. Accessing data is a major challenge, compounded by a shortage of trained staff and therequirement that every researcher must be accompaniedon the ground by a government representative. Produc-ing science under such conditions and building the trustrequired for ethnographic work are difficult tasks. Theseconstraints demand participatory research strategiesto create new spaces for knowledge co-production. Thisis what our 'Migr Lao' and 'Health' projects aim to do:explore links between human mobility, intimate relationships and vulnerability to infection.
