Abstract
Boucekiidae includes two extant genera, the South American genus Boucekius and the Australian genus Chalcidiscelis. Both genera are only known from females and biology is unknown for either. The chapter provides a diagnosis and additional recognition features for the family, discusses historical concepts of relationships and higher classification, and summarizes their distribution and diversity.
