Résumé

Ti-containing zeolite beta has been prepared by a simple and rapid post-synthesis treatment consisting of reacting the crystals in a concentrated solution of perchloric or nitric acid in the presence of a soluble source of titanium. Simultaneous dealumination and TiIV incorporation into the framework leads to catalysts that demonstrate good activity and selectivity for the epoxidation of olefins and oxidation of thioethers into sulfones using hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant.
