Résumé

Climate Change; Agricultural and Food Systems
Since its creation in 1988, the IPCC has become the key scientific authority informing international climate negotiations under the UNFCCC. Through its assessment reports, the IPCC shapes political decisions by providing credible, expert-backed climate science. This chapter traces how agricultural and land issues have evolved in IPCC reports, highlighting the physical and agronomic impacts of climate change on agriculture globally and regionally. It also examines how agricultural and food systems contribute to climate change.
