Abstract
It can't be a coincidence. The vocabulary specific to photography is that used in psychoanalysis, particularly for schizophrenic psychosis: apparatus, screen, disorder, real, etc. What are the links between photography and schizophrenic psychosis? What is at stake in such a parallel? What are the consequences for photography, the subject and its relationship to the world? This book investigates the relationship between photography and schizophrenic psychosis.
