Abstract
Official speeches constantly warning about deforestation, climate change, and environmental crises are not enough to convince the majority. Wouldn't we need new stories to rethink our relationship with the forest and our ecosystems? Wouldn’t fiction have the power to move the lines?It is to answer these questions that a group of researchers (linguists and literary scientists), starting from new discourses on the forest and the new taxonomies which designate it today, were interested in their current translation in novels - dystopian or not -contexts, animated films, poetry, all forms which tell a story and are like so many megaphones of the forest itself, whose urgency to be heard by modern man became an obviously. Thanks to the ancestral imaginations which resurface in new forms in these texts, since they are put in tension with contemporary fears and emergencies, these stories allow us to reconnect with a truth too often forgotten on a sensitive level, all integrating new scientific discoveries on trees and forests along the way.
