Abstract
This book has the dual goal of helping with decisions and giving an educational overview of the many aspects of the world food system. It presents the theories, the methods, the founding and more recent concepts as well as empirical and historical analyses of the highly-topical issue of feeding a growing population in a context of technological, economic and social crisis. It offers a preview of food consumption and production methods in 2050.
