FRIEND-Water remained active in many regions: from theGlobal FRIEND-Water conference in Montpellier in 2014, until the Beijing Global FRIEND-Water conference in2018 and the arrival of the new regional coordinators in 2019, several meetings, workshops, training sessions and conferences were organized, welcoming participants from morethan 150 countries.FRIEND-Water has shown to be a very solid and active initiative. This was confirmed by theUNESCO-IHP evaluation in 2018, the resolution made by the UNESCO-IHP IntergovernmentalCouncil on April 2022 on this Flagship initiative, and the multiple scheduled events for 2021 and2022. The support that FRIEND-Water receives from Member States has been essential for itsseveral achievements.
